advantages has a window made out of PVC in comparison with an aluminium one?
In
principle both materials are similar about stability. Windows made out of
aluminium are often built in at
facades of big buildings. In private house-building this makes no
difference because such huge surfaces are
not usual. About insulation you must imagine that an aluminium
window would be more expensive than a
window made out of PVC if it should have the same good u-value. In
basic versions PVC windows have a much
better insulation than aluminium ones. This might be decisive
because of increasing energy costs.
