History of Heinzmann
A
story of success - from one-man company to four national and
international companies
Founded
as a one-man company, Heinzmann enterprises has developed into one of the leading
companies in
the shutter and window industry. Below are some
chronologically ordered dates which follow our history. |
Karlheinz Heinzmann |
1970
The official registration of Heinzmann as a trading
company. In the rented rooms of what were once a wine cellar,
Heinzmann began the production and sale of shutters and
fittings.
1972
Development of Heinzmann's first own shutter
designs.
1977
Start of export business. Sale of shutter to the
United States.
1979
Acquisition and development of a property in
the industrial area of Goldberg in Kitzingen.
Start of production of windows and doors.
1985
First Heinzmann presentation at the international
shutter exhibition centre in Stuttgart, R + T’ 85
1990
Foundation of Heinzmann GmbH, Oehna.
At first the production of shutters and ready built
components started in rented rooms.
1991
Acquisition of property in Oehna. Rebuilding of
an old ware-house of the former Agricultural
Cooperative Society and construction of an
administrative building.
1992
The enhancement of export trade. Marketing
and sale in eastern Europe. |

1993
Acquisition of another property in the
industrial area Goldberg in Kitzingen.
By now, on an area of more than 12.000 m² with round
about 100 employees
Heinzmann produces windows, doors and shutters.
1995
Certification of the company according to DIN EN ISO 9001
and award of DEKRA-environment
seal of approval.
1997
Premier presentation of the Heinzmann homepage on
the internet.
1998
Foundation
of UAB Heinzmann in Raudondvaris in Lithuania (former sovjet republic)
Start of production of shutters, components and windows.
1999
Raising of
export trade overseas.
2000
Introduction of
Heinzmann intranet.
Raising of export trade in the European Union.
30 years of
Heinzmann in Kitzingen, 10 years of Heinzmann in Oehna!
2001
First websites in
Lithuanian language.
Sales offices in Klaipeda, Panevezys, Vilnius and
Kaunas.
2002
Newsletter-Service in German language. Spezial
websites for authorized partners.

Heinzmann get US trademark certificate.
